A studio of 35+ people who write code, edit copy, and visit the field.
Mahiti began in 2002 in Bengaluru, a two-room office that helped civil-society groups put their first websites online. Two decades later we still answer our own phones, and the studio is now a workshop for data systems, field tools, and the occasional editorial board meeting.

What we don't do
We don't write strategy decks. We don't run brand campaigns. We don't sell licences. If a partner needs those, we recommend someone we trust.
How we choose work
We take on work where a clear public outcome is named: a number of households, a measurable indicator, a piece of legislation. If we can't name it, we say no.
What we leave behind
Every engagement ends with a handover guide, a trained partner team, and a maintenance handover. The next person who reads the code shouldn't need us.
