Our approach

Three moves, always.

Twenty-three years in, we've found that the technology rarely fails — what fails is the fit between technology and the people, places and processes that use it. So we work in three deliberate moves.

Listen, in the field.

We start by spending time where the work happens — clinics, classrooms, FPO offices — to understand the workflow before we design the system.

2–8 weeks
02

Build, openly.

Open-source by default. We build for the device the worker actually has, the connection she actually gets, and the language she actually speaks.

3–9 months
03

Hand over, then stay close.

Our work isn't done at handover. We train, document and remain available — because the systems that last are the ones the partner can run themselves.
